Pools are Out, Paving Is In!
Before we remodeled the space, there was BOTH a pool and a jacuzzi in the space, but the clients wanted to move it up to the deck part of the patio, This was considered nearly impossible by most contractors beforehand, so they simply rejected it. That’s why the owners of the home turned to us, with our specialized expertise, we were able to completely remove both spaces and replace them with beautiful paving (shoutout to our expert paver!)
This is going to give more space to owners to host events, add in new furniture, or just walk around with the rest of their family. Plus, this layout change can increase the value of your home if structured correctly.
Moving It Up: Outdoor Jacuzzis Are The New Trend
Now that the pool was removed, we’re next going to move it up to the decks! Yes, as part of this, the clients wanted to move their jacuzzi way up to the new decking we ALSO constructed, which was also considered an extreme challenge by most, this was because the house is way up above the ground below it, 32 feet to be exact.
This means you would need to completely transform the whole space using a huge backyard makeover. And we did just that! Let’s look a bit deeper into how below.
Demolition & Retention To Expand Your Patio
So, how exactly did we make this work? We built a HUGE 32 feet retaining wall made of the highest quality concrete materials, not only did this let us add the space to add the new deck & jacuzzi, but it also let us add railing that will ensure that no younger children or pets can fall off this steep drop, increasing the safety of the home.
This entire thing took a huge demolition project, as you would need to remove debris and foliage to make space for the concrete. Warning, this is NOT budget-friendly!
